1. Purpose and educational use

The Education Center provides grief education, practical resources, and navigation to learning programs and support resources for individuals, families, communities, workplaces, and practitioners. Use this material for education and informed discussion. Access to the Center does not create a clinical, professional-client, or advisory relationship.

2. Health, safety, and professional advice

GGN provides education and navigation and does not diagnose or provide medical or mental-health treatment. Content is not a substitute for qualified professional care, legal advice, or financial advice. Seek the appropriate professional for your circumstances.

The Center and Jake are not emergency or crisis-response services. If there is immediate danger, contact local emergency services. The Resource Directory distinguishes crisis support from bereavement resources; follow each provider’s current contact information and geographic limits.

3. User responsibilities and acceptable use

Use the Center lawfully and respectfully. Provide accurate information where requested, respect other people’s privacy, and check whether resources are appropriate for your needs. Do not disrupt services, attempt unauthorized access, distribute malicious code, misrepresent affiliation or qualifications, or use content to harass or exploit others.

4. Educational programs and enrollment

Availability, prerequisites, access conditions, schedules, and completion requirements are defined by the specific program and enrollment materials. Access to public information does not itself enroll you or guarantee admission, completion, or ongoing availability. Keep any enrollment credentials secure.

Before paying, review the current program description, price, included access, and any published cancellation or refund conditions. These Terms do not invent or replace program-specific refund promises. Resolve unclear conditions with GGN before enrolling. A payment alone does not guarantee certification.

5. Third-party payment processing

Paid-program links direct you to third-party checkout services, including Stripe. The payment processor handles payment details under its own terms and privacy practices. The Education Center does not operate a card-entry form. Review checkout information before submitting payment; do not send card details through support or search.

6. Intellectual property and permitted use

GGN curriculum, educational content, branding, and artwork are owned by GGN or used with the applicable rights or permissions. Third-party material remains subject to its owner’s rights. Unless a specific resource states otherwise, you may read and use publicly available material for personal education and retain downloads expressly offered for that purpose.

Do not copy or redistribute curricula, resell resources, publish substantial reproductions, remove ownership notices, or create competing training materials without written permission. These restrictions are subject to rights and exceptions that applicable law provides. Linking to a resource does not transfer ownership or grant a license to it.

7. Certificates and certification limitations

A GGN certificate or certification reflects the requirements stated for that GGN program. It does not automatically confer professional licensure, authority to diagnose or treat, regulated credentials, employment, or acceptance for continuing-education credit by another organization. Confirm recognition with the relevant employer, licensing body, or accreditor.

8. External resources and links

External providers manage their own services, eligibility, availability, fees, terms, and privacy practices. Directory verification describes a review at a stated time and is not a guarantee that information will remain current. Confirm details with the source before relying on them. A link does not imply endorsement of every service or statement.

9. Availability and limitations of liability

Services may be interrupted, updated, or discontinued. Content may contain errors or become outdated. To the extent permitted by applicable law, the Center is provided without a guarantee of uninterrupted availability or suitability for a particular purpose, and GGN’s liability for losses arising from use of the Center is limited to the extent legally permitted. Nothing here excludes rights, duties, or liability that applicable law does not allow to be excluded.

10. Changes to services and terms

GGN may update services and these Terms. Revised terms will be posted here, with an appropriate notice for material changes where required. Review current terms before enrollment or continued use. Program-specific agreements and mandatory legal rights continue to apply.
